Clatsop County Veteran’s Breakfast
Turn Your Lights Green for Veterans!
Clatsop County is proud to once again participate in Operation Green Light for Veterans, in partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo), the National Association of County Veteran Service Officers (NACVSO), and counties across the United States.
From Tuesday, November 4 through Tuesday, November 11, 2025, we will illuminate County buildings in green to honor and support our veterans and their families.
We invite all residents, businesses, and other local agencies to take part by changing one or more light bulbs inside or outside your home or place of business to a green bulb. This simple gesture helps show our veterans that they are seen, appreciated, and supported—and it helps spark important conversations about the services available to them and their families.

Need a green bulb? A limited number of free bulbs are available at the following locations while supplies last:
Veteran Services Office at Clatsop Community College: 1717 Lexington Ave, Astoria, OR 97103 | Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
County Manager’s Office, 4th Floor Reception: 800 Exchange Street, Astoria, OR 97103 | Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Military and Veterans Convention
The Clatsop County Veteran Services Office invites all veterans, service members, and community members to attend this year’s Military and Veterans Convention. This free annual event is a chance to connect, build networks, and strengthen veteran advocacy in our community.
When: Tuesday, November 18 from 10am-2pm
Where: Seaside Civic & Convention Center (415 1st Ave., Seaside, OR 97138)
