Food Resources & Services
Clatsop Community Action (CCA) plays a central role in addressing food insecurity across Clatsop County through operation of the CCA Regional Food Bank, a key partner in the Oregon Food Bank Network.
Through a coordinated, countywide approach, CCA distributes food to a network of local partner agencies while also providing direct access to individuals and families in need. This integrated system ensures that food reaches communities efficiently, equitably, and with dignity.
As part of the Oregon Food Bank Network—a statewide coalition working to eliminate hunger and its root causes—CCA contributes to a broader effort that combines food distribution with advocacy, education, and long-term solutions. This partnership, along with national support through Feeding America, strengthens the region’s ability to secure and distribute vital food resources.
Locally, the Regional Food Bank supports a diverse network of programs, including food pantries, meal sites, shelters, youth and weekend feeding programs, and home-delivered meals. Together, these efforts form a comprehensive response to hunger—meeting immediate needs while supporting overall community health and stability.
Operating from a centralized distribution facility in Warrenton, the CCA Regional Food Bank serves as the backbone of food access in Clatsop County, ensuring that partners across the region are equipped to serve their communities effectively.
Through strong partnerships and a shared commitment to ending hunger, CCA continues to advance a more food-secure and resilient Clatsop County.
