About Clatsop Community Action

Clatsop Community Action (CCA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to reducing poverty and strengthening Clatsop County by ensuring every individual and family has access to the resources they need to thrive. Since 1989, CCA has delivered high-impact, community-based services that address immediate needs while creating pathways to long-term stability.

Through a comprehensive approach, CCA helps prevent homelessness, reduce food insecurity, and support household stability by providing access to housing assistance, food resources, energy support, and coordinated services. Our work not only meets urgent needs but also helps individuals and families move toward greater self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.

CCA is also proud to serve all veterans through our Veterans Service Officer office, ensuring those who have served our country receive the benefits, advocacy, and support they have earned.

By leveraging strong partnerships and strategically expanding access to services across the county, CCA reaches individuals where they are—removing barriers and strengthening the overall health and resilience of our community.

Our impact is made possible through the combined support of public funding, private investment, and dedicated community partners. Together, we are building a stronger, more equitable Clatsop County where all residents have the opportunity to succeed.
